Most of our applications come with a DEMO mode that you can try for free, with no time limitations.
The demo mode is fully functional and includes all the features (see some exceptions below) of the licensed version. This means you can test our applications and their functionality, even with your complete setup.
The limitations will depend on each application, but for our playout and ingest applications, the only difference is that, every few seconds, it adds blue DEMO frames to the recording or the output. Here is an example with OnTheAir Video:
Once you purchase a license, you'll be using the same application without the DEMO frame.
Some limitations
For some applications, the DEMO mode is not included or has certain limitations. Here's an overview of each software:

It is only if you want to output to a video device directly from OnTheAir CG Designer that you will see the blue DEMO frames every few seconds in the output. How to use the Demo mode
1. Download the application (on our website for the latest version or on the pre-released page)
2. Open it and use it without activating a license.
3. The best place to verify if your application is in DEMO mode, is when you select the menu "About OnTheAir Video", or "About {Name of the Application}". This window will open:
