Release Notes

This is the first version of OnTheAir Flow. 

OnTheAir Flow is an automatic segmentation tool to automate the processing and delivery of syndicated television programs for broadcasters and cable operators. This platform automates tasks to prepare content for transmission, ensuring faster turnaround times and fewer errors in the delivery of content to different channels.

OnTheAir Flow automatically validates media, and create subsegments received from a BXF file. These segments are then immediately available in OnTheAir Video for playback, with no transcoding involved. Unlike other solutions who require files to be transcoded, OnTheAir Video can play the files natively.

Rules can be applied automatically for file naming, and is easily configurable by the user to match its specific naming convention.

• Traffic segmentation format choices. Choose segment separator, and segment number format.
• Proxy file options: choose proxy suffix, and enable automatic proxy generation
• Folders: Folder assignment locations

Web App:

• Preview window: supports caption tracks, and alternate subtitle tracks.
• Segmentation selection
• Keyboard shortcuts
• QC output: Selectable OnTheAir Video engine output. This allows you to quality control the video files from the web app. OnTheAir Video stays in sync with the web experience and outputs the video file via SDI.
