1. Create a new account
To create an account, click on "create an account" from the Welcome text in the middle of the screen below the “What’s New Here?”
Pressing on the link will open up this window:
When filling out the account information, make sure that you use the name and address exactly as it appears on the credit card that you intend to use. There will be more information on use of specific credit cards or changing you payment method to Wire Transfer later in this document.
If successful the following screen will appear.
European Customers, read carefully!! Important note about Intracom VAT number !!
If you are ordering for a company and are using a European intracom VAT number, you must enter the number correctly in order for your orders not to have the 21% Belgian VAT. If it is not entered correctly, the following message might appear.
This message might also pop up if you have indeed entered the correct VAT number but the European VAT checking servers are not operational. You might have to try again a little later.
IF YOU PROCESS AN ORDER AND EXPECT NOT TO PAY VAT, PLEASE WAIT UNTIL YOUR VAT NUMBER IS PROCESSED CORRECTLY – SOFTRON WILL NOT REFUND THE VAT AMOUNT BILLED BECAUSE THE NUMBER WAS INCORRECTLY SET. BEFORE CONFIRMING AND PAYING YOUR ORDER, ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK THAT THE VAT IS NOT ADDED.
2. Important note to resellers
If you are a Softron reseller, your account must be linked to your reseller discount. This must be approved by the sales team. Contact us once your account is created to make sure you get your discount.
