Note: ENPS 9 introduced the chromium web browser support. This enables the OnTheAir MOS Gateway plugin to work in the ENPS application, without needing a separate browser. Using earlier versions of ENPS are still compatible with OnTheAir MOS Gateway, but you will need to reach the plugin at its IP address via a browser such as Chrome.
<YourIPAddress>:8090
While working in a separate browser, drag and drop is supported into ENPS, including from a Mac based browser to a Parallels instance running ENPS.
Warning: For NRCS systems, there are a lot of configuration and challenges for each install. It is best to leave installs to a system administrator with experience on your system.
It is recommended that you read our article on the OnTheAir MOS Gateway settings before setting up the NRCS. This will familiarize with the settings page and the features included.
How to: OnTheAir MOS Gateway Settings
In the OnTheAir MOS Gateway settings, you will need to configure these settings:
- Gateway MOS ID - detailed below
- Server IP Address
- Server Name
- MOS Version - enabled for ENPS
Avid iNews Program ID is unnecessary as ENPS knows which device is for which plugin.
Gateway MOS ID
The Gateway MOS ID can be custom created, but needs to be all capital letters and no spaces. This name is important as it has to match what you enter into the ENPS system maintenance. In ENPS, the "Address" is the MOS Device name you created.
Make sure to fill out the ENPS columns for the OnTheAir MOS Gateway correctly. The below list is every column option in ENPS from left to right for your convenience. Italicized fields are left blank by default.

After the settings are saved and applied, it is necessary to restart the ENPS client to see the changes. If everything is setup correctly, clicking the MOS device button in ENPS should show a new option. Remember the OnTheAir MOS Gateway will display as the description name you chose in the above system maintenance columns.
Selecting that OnTheAir MOS Gateway device should launch the plugin in the ENPS browser (shown here in ENPS dark mode).
