HOW TO set up for TSL 5.0 protocol

Note that support for TSL 5.0 is added in Multicam Logger 2.3 or later.

About TSL 5.0 Tally support

Some production switcher support the TSL 5.0 protocol, which is an IP protocol and is very flexible to monitor which input is selected. 

There is a new preference in Multicam Logger to enable TSL 5 Tally:

Then if you click on the "Configure...", this popover will show:

You can configure:

• Screen: This will filter the messages for a specific screen only.
• Display Part: This will filter the messages for only a specific display part.
• Switch Using Display Index: When enabled, the Display Index from TSL messages will be used to switch instead of the Source Name. When using the Source name, they must match the source name in Multicam Logger's Settings.
• Update Source Name: When a source name is received with a display index, the source name will automatically be updated with the received name.
