Security Statement: Log4j is not used in our software

As you may have heard, there is a security flaw in a widely used logging library: Log4j. At Softron, we don't use Java, Java libraries, nor Apache in our software thus was not impacted by this breach.

While we don't use Java software in development, we went a step further to ensure your security. We audited our software to confirm it is not used in any Softron code nor libraries that depend on it. 

At Softron, we develop most of our code internally and rely on as few external libraries as possible-- this has been our approach for many years. Though using external libraries can save some developing time, we prefer to remain in control of our code and any possible consequences.

As an adding precaution, if you are running Softron software in a sensitive environment, we recommend that you check other software installed on your Mac to confirm your security is not compromised by Log4j.
