NTP servers: A different way to sync your clocks (and schedules)

If you are working with two MacPros and you want to sync them together to assure that they are running the same clock, the best thing to do is to sync them to an NTP server. After connecting the NTP device to the network, select the Date and Time Preference pane in the Mac System Preference panel, and enter the IP address of the NTP server into the pull down. Just type over the entry that is already displayed - you IP address will be added to the list. Check the Set data & time automatically box in the Preference pane.
